Internship opportunity: Graphic Design & Communications Intern

The German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (EKONID), located in Jakarta, is looking to expand its Communication team with a Graphic Design & Communications intern. 

 

Are you interested in visual art and corporate communications? Are you well-informed on the latest business trends and economic issues? Would you like to be part of a dynamic international team and contribute in delivering aesthetically appealing and effective communication strategies? 

 

Your tasks and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Communication Dept. Executives, you will assist in: 

  • Conceptualizing, developing, and delivering graphics/visual content. 
  • Maintaining EKONID’s and its affiliated brand’s websites and social media channels. 
  • Analyzing the performance of EKONID’s and its affiliated brand’s websites and social media channels. 

 

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or university final year in Journalism, Visual Communication, Communication Studies, or a related major. 
  • Skilled at graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with website CMS (Typo 3, Wordpress, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with social media tools 
  • Excellent English skills (verbally and writing) are required 
  • Deutsch speaking is a significant plus

  • Proven interest in staying abreast of current events, business trends, as well as economic topics.

Location: Jakarta (physical presence with home office option for a maximum of two days)
Duration: 3 months
